Mims Copeland started her career with The Oregonian in 2005 as an award-winning page designer. She was later a print editor and now works as a social media producer and the Saturday breaking news editor. She has a master's degree in journalism from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where she also taught a couple classes as an adjunct professor.
