James Riswick has been testing and reviewing cars since 2007, serving as an editor at Edmunds.com for a decade before coming here to Autoblog where he oversees our reviews and features. He's also our west coast editor, covering new car press launches in the Pacific time zone and making sure we're still testing cars when our Michigan-based editors are up to their fenders in snow. James has attended an auto show every year since he was 2 and literally can't remember when or why cars became his thing. They just always have been. He owns a '98 BMW Z3, a '23 Kia Niro EV and is still waiting for Q to deliver his Aston Martin DB5.
